Dr. Julie M. Milner, EdD., Esq. is a civil rights attorney who brings a wealth
of experience and a steadfast dedication to equality, trust, and justice in her
campaign for civil court judge in Queens. With a diverse background
spanning education and law, she stands as a beacon of independence,
integrity and fairness.
Dr. Milner holds a Juris Doctorate from the City University of New York
School of Law as well as a Transformational Leadership Educational
Doctorate from Long Island University. Her background as managing
attorney and educator equips her with a profound grasp of solving
legal complexities with a scholarly approach.

Dr. Milner's career reflects a strong dedication to community service. As
a Dissertation Advisor, Education Professor, and former Special Education
and Social Studies Teacher in Title I schools, she champions high quality,
inclusive education and student empowerment. Her appointments to Queens
Community Board 6, serving the Rego Park and Forest Hills communities, as
well as to the Civic Engagement Committee by Queens Borough President Donovan Richard further demonstrates her commitment to addressing local concerns to advance social justice.

Dr. Milner envisions a judiciary characterized by fairness, impartiality, and inclusivity. She will ensure equal access to justice for all individuals, especially those from marginalized groups. Through her campaign, she aims to inspire trust and confidence in the legal system and work towards a more equitable society.
